Job Summary

Head of Tablet Platform to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of internal tablet-based platforms used by Relationship Managers, Sales teams, and Branch staff across the bank. This role is responsible for driving digital transformation to enhance employee productivity, streamline operational workflows, and support sales and servicing activities. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership, strategic thinking, and banking domain expertise to build scalable, secure, and high-impact solutions that align with business objectives and user needs

  • Fully accountable to define a clear platform & product strategy, vision, roadmap, and the value delivered to retail based on understanding of the customers pain point, competitive landscape, and the bank's strategic direction.
  • Sets product vision and platform strategy across multiple domains.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to prioritize projects, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively, and projects are completed on time.
  • Aligns product goals with business objectives and market trends.
  • Oversees cross-team collaboration and governance.
  • Coaches team members and drives organizational change.
  • Develops strategies for talent acquisition and retention, ensuring the platform team has the necessary skills and resources to succeed.

  • Ensures solutions meet security standards, implementing best practices to protect the platform and its users.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related fields
  • 10+ years of experience in digital platform / product / technology roles
  • At least 5 years of experience leading and managing cross-functional teams
  • Proven experience in banking digital platform or financial services environment
  • Strong background in internal platforms (Tablet / RM tools / Sales or Branch systems)
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile / Scrum environment
