Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for an energetic, friendly and service-oriented Tea Bar Associate who has a genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
The ideal candidate has previous experience in hospitality, whether as a waiter/waitress, host/hostess, bartender or in a similar guest-facing role. You are confident, personable and passionate about delivering exceptional service. You enjoy interacting with guests, thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in creating memorable experiences.
A genuine interest in specialty tea, beverages and premium hospitality is essential. While tea knowledge is an advantage, we will provide comprehensive training to help you become an expert in AVANTCHA's products, tea preparation and signature tea beverages.
Key Responsibilities
Tea Preparation
- Prepare and serve a wide range of premium teas according to AVANTCHA's quality standards.
- Ensure consistency, presentation and exceptional product quality with every beverage served.
Guest Experience
- Deliver warm, personalised and memorable service to every guest.
- Confidently recommend teas, beverages, food items and retail products based on guest preferences.
- Build lasting relationships with guests through exceptional hospitality.
Tea Cocktails & Signature Beverages
- Prepare and serve AVANTCHA's signature tea beverages and tea-based cocktails.
- Continuously develop beverage preparation skills and contribute ideas for seasonal offerings.
Workshops & Events
- Plan, host and facilitate tea workshops, tea tastings and special events.
- Deliver engaging educational experiences that showcase the AVANTCHA brand and inspire guests to explore the world of tea.
Product Knowledge
- Develop an in-depth understanding of AVANTCHA teas, botanicals, tea ware and food offerings.
- Confidently educate guests on tea origins, flavour profiles, brewing methods and food pairings to enhance their overall experience.
Retail Sales
- Promote and sell AVANTCHA teas, tea ware and retail products.
- Support seasonal promotions, new product launches and retail initiatives.
- Contribute towards achieving Tea Bar sales targets.
Tea Bar Operations
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organisation and food safety standards throughout the Tea Bar.
- Ensure all equipment is clean, operational and well maintained.
- Replenish stock and maintain high visual merchandising and retail presentation standards.
Teamwork
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Support colleagues during busy service periods and contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture.
Professionalism
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality and accountability in all aspects of the role.
- Represent the AVANTCHA brand with professionalism, integrity and pride.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, cafés, restaurants or food and beverage is preferred
Communication
- Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Thai language proficiency is required.
