Job Description

The position is responsible for managing the overall occupational health and safety function in Thailand to ensure a safe, healthy and accident-free and fatality-free working environment. This role drives implementation, maintenanceand continual improvement of the company's occupational health and safety policies, systems and processes in line with Thailand legislation and company standards.

[Skills,Competenciesand Experience]:

The successful candidate is expected to meet the following requirements:

-Bachelor's degree or recognized diploma in Occupational Safety 8 HealthManagement or related discipline; possess valid OSH training certificate /card in accordance with Thailand regulations is a must.

-At least 10 years of relevant working experience in construction / elevator orvertical transportation industries,including field/site exposure. Provenexperience in contractor and subcontractor management, as well asdemonstrated competency in quality and safety management systems inaccordance with lS0 45001 and lS0 9001 is required.

-Strong experience in safety inspections, construction site audits andaccident/incident investigations, including preparation and follow-up ofcorrective and preventive actions.

-Demonstrated ability to develop and implement safety procedures, methodstatements and risk assessments in line with both Company and Thailandlaws and applicable standards.

-Strong initiative and a proactive, hands-on approach, with the ability to workboth collaboratively and independently as an effective individual contributor.

-In-depth knowledge of Thailand occupational safety and health regulationsand practical experience in applying these requirements at the workplace.

-Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills, with the ability tomanage multiple sites and stakeholders.

-Proficient in written and spoken in English and Thai, including the ability toprepare clear reports, procedures and training materials.

-Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engagemanagement,employees, subcontractors and government inspectors onlocal required matters.

-Demonstrates strong leadership and teamwork, with high motivation, strongorganizational skills, and effective planning capabilities.

-Willing to travel frequently within the assigned territory and to conductregular site visits audits and inspections.

[Responsibilities and Tasks]:

-Act as the company's key safety focal point in Thailand, advising managementand job-site teams on measures needed to protect the safety and health of allpersons at the workplace and to comply with Thailand legislation.

-Implement,monitor and continuously improve the corporateand siteoccupational health and safety management system(includingThailandrequirements where applicable), procedures and work instructions.

-Develop and issue safety and health rules for various activities and operationsand support management in taking appropriate measures in the event of non.compliance with safety rules and regulations.

-Review and provide input on method statements, job hazard analyses and riskassessments submitted for approval, ensuring they are aligned with legalequirements and company standards.

-Recommend repairs, maintenance or engineering controls required to ensurethe safety and health of employees and other persons with respect topremises,equipment and work practices.

-Plan, develop and deliver safety training and awareness programs to all levelsofemployees, subcontractors and workers, including specific topic of relevanttraining required by local regulations, if any.

-Conduct regular site inspections, i.e. job-site walks, safety toolkits check, permit-to-work verification to identify hazards, unsafe conditions and unsafe acts, and issue timely reports with recommendations and follow-up actions.

-Lead and coordinate internal and external safety audits and inspections,including those conducted by corporate teams, clients and government authorities.

-Monitor compliance with legal and company safety requirements, promote safe work behaviour and intervene where necessary to prevent unsafe practices and take necessary corrective measures to ensure all levels of employees and subcontractors are aware.

-Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences.prepare reports with root-cause analysis and recommendations, and follow upon the implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive measures.

-Ensure the organization of Safety Committee meetings in accordance with legal requirements.

-Fatality Prevention-Develops and implements advanced methods and practices to prevent fatalities among employees and subcontractors and maintains accurate records of any such incidents.

-Safe working Methods: Supports field operations in the development and implementation of safe work practices for New Installation and Maintenance Service processes

-SX Tool Audit: Provides leadership and direction across all operational levels in preparation for planned audits by SEA or internal TKE Thailand audits.ensuring employees and subcontractors are audit-ready through regular site inspections and performance audits, and submits monthly safety activity reports to Management.

-Establish and monitor annual inspection plan to ensure that all UUMs are inspected to feedback the result to Service department for rectification.

-Perform other local safety related duties and ad hoc projects as assigned by management to support continuous improvement of safety culture and performance.

-Empowered to recommend and enforce work stoppage in cases of serious safety non-compliance, in line with company standards and local regulations.

-Accountable for ensuring required pre-work safety verifications (e.g. JHApermit-to-work or equivalent) are completed and verified before work starts.
