HVAC Senior Design Engineer s Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Present HVAC design approaches and advanced EUI/performance analysis, ensuring alignment with high-efficiency and international sustainability standards.

• Oversee, review, and approve design drawings, calculation reports, and technical documents across all design stages to ensure accuracy and quality.

• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams to resolve cross-discipline issues and ensure seamless system integration.

• Analyze issues raised from site teams, capture lessons learned, and incorporate improvements into the design, while providing appropriate and cost-effective engineering solutions.

• Develop and improve working methods and cooling load calculation approaches to enhance accuracy, consistency, and engineering reliability.

• Communicate and present technical information to clients and consultants with clarity and professional engineering judgment.

• Support feasibility studies by performing basic ROI and payback analyses for energy-saving solutions, connecting engineering design decisions with financial impacts to help justify client investment.

• Mentor and review the work of junior engineers to maintain design standards and enhance team capability.

• Work with the Team Lead to plan design resources, monitor progress, and ensure high-quality and timely deliverables.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of HVAC design experience for buildings and factories. (hospital project is a plus).

• Proficient in AutoCAD, cooling load calculation software, BIM, and Revit.

• Fluent in Thai, with good English communication skills for coordination with international and local stakeholders.
