Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Heavy Equipment Mechanic role based in Bangkok. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will inspect, diagnose, and repair a range of heavy and material handling equipment, including forklifts, access platforms, compact equipment, and related machinery. Daily responsibilities include performing preventive and corrective maintenance, identifying mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, and carrying out troubleshooting to minimize downtime. The role involves completing service reports, following safety and quality standards, coordinating with service advisors and parts teams, and occasionally supporting field service work at customer sites. The mechanic will also help maintain workshop tools and equipment, contribute to continuous improvement in service processes, and support customer satisfaction through reliable, timely service.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Vehicle Maintenance, with the ability to perform routine servicing and preventive checks.
  • Hands-on experience with Heavy Equipment operation and systems, including material handling and construction machinery.
  • Proficiency in Equipment Repair and Troubleshooting, including mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical fault diagnosis.
  • Technical or vocational qualification in automotive, mechanical, or heavy equipment engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals, service documentation, and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, proper tool usage, and adherence to company and regulatory standards.
  • Basic computer skills for service reporting and communication; familiarity with service management systems is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a dealership or equipment rental/service environment is beneficial.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
