About the role
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a critical role in aligning human resources strategies with business goals to enhance workforce performance and operational efficiency. This position serves as a strategic advisor to Site Leadership, ensuring HR policies and programs support business objectives while fostering an inclusive work environment. Additionally, the role includes executing the Employee Welfare Committee, managing union relationships, and ensuring compliance with health & safety standards, quality requirements, and key audits e.g. human rights audits, equity pay gaps, financial control framework etc.
This role is crucial in fostering a productive, compliant, and engaged workforce, ensuring the factory meets operational and strategic business goals. Your responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership
Collaborate with factory leadership to align HR initiatives with operational goals.
Act as a trusted advisor, providing HR insights and data-driven recommendations to improve workforce efficiency.
Support organizational change initiatives, including restructures, expansions, or process improvements.
Employee Relations, Union, and Engagement
Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution while ensuring
compliance with labor laws.
Act as the primary HR representative in union negotiations, ensuring labour agreements support both business goals and employee satisfaction.
Collaborate with union representatives to resolve conflicts, grievances, and disputes while maintaining a positive and productive labour relationship.
Talent Management & Workforce Planning
Partner with managers to assess staffing needs and workforce planning strategies.
Work with COE team for career development programs to attract and retain top talent.
Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
Performance Management
Drive performance management processes, ensuring clear goal-setting and feedback mechanisms.
Coach supervisors and managers on performance improvement strategies and employee development.
Support succession planning and leadership development efforts.
Compliance & HR Policies
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, safety regulations, and company policy.
Implement and monitor HR policies, ensuring consistency and fairness across the workforce.
Conduct investigations related to workplace misconduct or policy violations.
Compensation & Benefits
Work with COE teams to ensure fair and competitive pay structures.
Support benefits administration and employee wellness initiatives.
Address payroll-related issues and ensure HR systems are updated
The experience we're looking for
Education : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experiences : Minimum of 5 years in HR roles, preferably in a manufacturing or factory environment
Competencies Required (knowledge, skill, training)
Strong knowledge of labor laws and industrial relations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics
