Job Description

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) for Thailand and Vietnam will manage day-to-day HR operations, provide strong in-country stakeholder partnership, and support the full employee lifecycle. This role will work closely with business leaders, managers, and employees on the ground to ensure smooth HR operations, drive employee engagement, and support the company's HR strategy across both markets.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation across all HR areas, be comfortable onboarding new hires, managing employee data and documentation, and providing HR support to employees and managers. This individual must also be proactive in identifying workforce trends, advising on employee relations, and strengthening collaboration with leadership to build a high‑performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

  • Manage day‑to‑day HR operations for Thailand and Vietnam.
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth employee experience.
  • Manage and coordinate immigration documentation, work permits, visas, tax filing, and employee benefits.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with local labor laws.
  • Support employees with HR queries and provide timely guidance.

2. Stakeholder Partnership

  • Partner closely with business leaders and managers on the ground to understand operational needs, staffing requirements, and HR support priorities.
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for Thailand and Vietnam, ensuring strong collaboration and communication.
  • Support managers with performance management, team development, and people-related decision-making.
  • Assist in managing employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary processes.

3. Talent Engagement & Culture

  • Research and analyze employee trends to identify opportunities to increase engagement, motivation, and retention.
  • Support and drive engagement initiatives, employee activities, and culture-building programs.
  • Promote company values, ethics, and culture across both markets.
  • Collaborate with leadership to provide training, development, and coaching for employees.

4. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Maintain deep knowledge of Thailand and Vietnam labor regulations and ensure all HR activities remain compliant.
  • Identify and mitigate HR-related risks associated with employee management.
  • Ensure HR policies are up to date and properly implemented across both countries.

5. HR Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to HR projects, process improvements, and HR initiatives.
  • Support workforce planning, talent development, and organizational changes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a regional or multi-country HR operations role.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage onboarding and HR documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of Thailand and/or Vietnam labor laws (experience in both is an advantage).
