Job Description

HiringHR Director (Retail)for a fast-growing retail startup in Thailand. This is a hands-on leadership role to build people strategy and a scalable HR operating system from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

  • Own HR strategy and HR Operating Model for scale-up: org design, grades, career paths, policies.
  • Lead high-volume front-office hiring for stores and expert hiring for back-office roles.
  • Build Retail L&D / Academy: onboarding, service & sales standards, mandatory training and re-certification.
  • Launch performance management (KPI/OKR, appraisal cycles, calibration, development plans).
  • Manage total rewards and payroll cost within target range.
  • Ensure full Thai Labour Law compliance and audit readiness (0 critical violations).
  • Drive HR analytics and digital tools (HRIS/ATS/LMS, dashboards).

What we're looking for

  • Senior HR leader with retail / multi-site or scale-up experience in Thailand/SEA.
  • Strong in TA, workforce planning, L&D, performance, rewards, and compliance.
  • Data-driven, pragmatic, and a true business partner to CEO and leadership team.
