The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources GA responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
HR
Labor Law & Compliance Knowledge
- Strong understanding of local labor laws, union relations (if applicable), and compliance audits.
Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution
- Ability to manage grievances, disciplinary actions, and maintain a positive industrial climate.
Recruitment & Workforce Planning
- Hands-on recruitment for plant roles (e.g., operators, technicians), including blue-collar hiring strategies.
Performance Management
- Implementing and tracking KPIs, managing underperformance processes.
Training & Development
- Identify skill gaps and implement technical or behavioral training, especially for production staff.
HR Policy & SOP Implementation
- Local adaptation and enforcement of HR policies; creation of SOPs tailored for plant operations.
Compensation Benefit, Payroll & Timekeeping Oversight
- Coordinate with HR Ops/payroll teams on shift-based attendance, OT calculations, and leave records.
General Affairs
Facility & Asset Management
- Oversee plant facilities (e.g., canteen, security, dormitory, transportation, housekeeping, equipment maintenance).
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Handle contracts, evaluate vendor performance (e.g., cleaners, security personnel), and manage service level agreements.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Support
- Coordinate with HSE on safety drills, PPE compliance, and workplace safety conditions.
Office & Administrative Services
- Manage utilities, office supplies, ID card issuance, and general upkeep of the workplace.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
- 10+ years experience in Human Resources
- Stakeholder management, problem solving , crisis management, resilience, high ownership
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
- Attention to detail and good judgement
