Job Description

Weatherford is seeking a Manager, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) & Hazmat based in Bangkok, Thailand office. The HSE & Hazmat Manager is responsible for leading the implementation and compliance of Weatherford's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management system across all operations in Greater Thailand. This role oversees all HSE personnel within the area and drives a culture of safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across business units, product lines, and manufacturing sites.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and ensure consistent implementation of the HSE management system across all local operations in Songkhla, Bangkok, Phitsanulok.
  • Promote a strong HSE culture and ensure compliance with Weatherford's HSE policies, standards, and legal requirements.
  • Manage incident prevention programs, conduct audits, and oversee timely investigations and reporting of HSE incidents.
  • Support external audits and certifications, including ISO 14001 & ISO 45001.
  • Monitor HSE performance trends and provide data-driven insights to stakeholders.
  • Provide HSE input for client tenders and ensure standardized HSE training and work practices are followed.
  • Represent Weatherford in HSE matters with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive employee engagement and talent development within the HSE function.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in HSE or relevant discipline/ certification in HSE and hazmat.
  • 8-10 years of HSE related experience.
  • 5 years experience in implementing and/or maintaining a QHSE management system
  • Root Cause Analysis Incident Investigation Training.
  • Excellent leadership & interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication (verbal & written) skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills and be able to respond to urgent situations.
