Develops, implements, evaluates, and monitors corporate health, occupational safety, and environmental programs, promoting outcomes and recommending improvements to create a safe and healthy work environment for DESC employees, including education and training.
Provides feedback on historical inspections and follows up, suggesting areas for improvement to operations personnel and upper management.
Creates new initiatives and programs related to injury and accident prevention.
Arranges ergonomic evaluations of job designs and workplace layouts, and oversees the conduct and monitoring of health, occupational safety, and environmental inspections and audits.
Develops, implements, and evaluates policies, procedures, and work instructions related to HSE, based on established goals and objectives that align with the company's strategic direction.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years experience both in Health & Safety background
Knowledgeable of occupational health, safety, and environment, including legal requirements
Communication and presentation skills, as well as negotiation skills
Ability to listen and communicate in English reasonably well
Good communication in Thai
Able to work 6 days/week at DC Makro Mahachai required
