We are seeking an experienced Human Resources & Administration Manager to oversee and manage our human resources and administrative functions in our Bangkok office. The successful candidate will play a role in supporting the organization's strategic objectives by recruiting, developing, and retaining talent while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and best practices in human resources management specific to the international freight forwarding and logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract talent in the logistics sector.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.

Payroll Management:

  • Oversee the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee compensation, taxes, and deductions.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and tax regulations.
  • Address payroll inquiries and issues raised by employees, providing guidance and resolution.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Administer competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.
  • Conduct salary surveys and analyze market trends to ensure the company's offerings remain competitive.

Compliance and Policy Development:

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures to reflect best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Act as a point of contact for labor relations and oversee any required reporting to labor authorities.

Expatriate Management and Visa Applications:

  • Manage the expatriate relocation process, from job offer to settling in, including housing, and local cultural orientation.
  • Coordinate visa applications for expatriates and their families (if any applies), ensuring compliance with immigration laws and regulations.
  • Facilitate communication between agents and immigration to resolve any issues related to visas or work permits.

ISO Representative:

  • Serve as the ISO representative for the organization, ensuring adherence to ISO standards and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate internal audits, manage documentation, and facilitate training related to ISO procedures and policies.
  • Work collaboratively with all departments to implement continuous improvement initiatives in line with ISO standards.

Employee Relations:

  • Foster a positive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns, managing conflict, and promoting engagement.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, feedback mechanisms, and recognition programs.

Training and Development:

  • Design and execute performance management systems aligned with company goals.
  • Identify training needs, facilitate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career progression opportunities.
  • Work with external training providers to facilitate specialized training relevant to the logistics industry.

Performance Metrics and Reporting:

  • Track HR metrics and prepare reports on recruitment, turnover, employee engagement, and compliance activities.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management to inform strategic HR decisions.

Administrative Management:

  • Oversee the administrative operations of the Bangkok office, including facilities management, office supplies procurement, and vendor relationships.
  • Develop and implement efficient office management procedures to enhance overall productivity and operational efficiency.
