Our client, the engineering services company is establishing a new branch in Thailand to expand its presence and serve clients across Southeast Asia. They are looking for a dedicated HR and Admin Officer to support the setup and daily operations of their new office.
Job Purpose
The HR and Admin Officer will play a key role in supporting the establishment of company's new branch in Thailand. This position is responsible for handling a range of HR and administrative functions, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and providing day-to-day operational support as the office grows.
Job description
- Support HR setup activities, including company registration-related HR documentation and policy implementation.
- Assist in recruitment processes posting job ads, screening applications, and coordinating interviews.
- Maintain employee records and prepare HR documents such as contracts, onboarding materials, and forms.
- Coordinate with government offices and external service providers (e.g., Social Security Office, insurance, and labor department).
- Ensure HR practices comply with Thai labor laws and company standards.
- Handle office setup arrangements such as procurement of equipment, supplies, and services.
- Support general administrative duties including document filing, correspondence, and logistics.
- Provide administrative support to management and other departments as required.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 24 years of experience in HR and administrative work.
- Good command of English (spoken and written).
- Good understanding of Thai labor laws and local HR compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Positive attitude, hands-on approach, and ability to work independently in a small team setup.
