The Human Resources Assistant role provides day-to-day administrative and coordination support for employees at a manufacturing plant in Samut Prakan. The position is a great opportunity to build experience across onboarding, recruitment coordination, attendance monitoring, documentation, benefits administration, and facility-related matters.
Responsibilities
- Human Resources Administration
- Prepare and maintain employee records and Human Resources (HR) documentation
- Support new employee onboarding, including document preparation and orientation arrangements
- Coordinate employee enrolment in group insurance and other employee benefits
- Process and update employee information in HR systems
- Assist with offboarding and remove departing employees from relevant systems and databases
- Recruitment Coordination
- Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers
- Arrange interview appointments and meeting logistics
- Follow up with line managers regarding interview feedback and recruitment status
- Communicate with candidates regarding interview dates, times, and required information
- Attendance & Time Management
- Monitor employee attendance, overtime, and fingerprint scanning records
- Maintain attendance reports and follow up on discrepancies
- Generate basic HR reports using Microsoft Excel
- Employee Support & Facilities Coordination
- Assist employees with HR-related administrative enquiries
- Coordinate facility-related matters within the manufacturing plant
- Support employee welfare activities and general HR operations
- Act as a liaison between employees, supervisors, and HR team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 1 year of work experience are welcome to apply
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage, while fresh graduates with a genuine interest in developing a career in the manufacturing industry may also be considered
- Intermediate spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate with international stakeholders
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Observant, proactive, and detail-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including VLOOKUP and basic reporting functions
- Experience with attendance systems, fingerprint scanning systems, HR administration, or workforce coordination would be an advantage
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ownership of a personal vehicle and a valid driving licence are required, as company transportation is not provided
