Job Overview
We are looking for a HR Functional Consultant to join our team and act as a bridge between HR business processes and Human Resources Management System (HRMS) technologies. In this role, you will play a vital part in analyzing business requirements, designing solutions, configuring systems, and delivering HR technology solutions that optimize efficiency and elevate overall HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with HR teams and key stakeholders to understand current business processes (As-Is), identify pain points, and gather requirements to design optimized future-state workflows (To-Be) within the system.
- System Design & Configuration: Design and configure HR system modules (e.g., Core HR, Recruitment, Payroll, Time Attendance, Performance Management) to align with company policies and compliance standards.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Prepare test scenarios and test cases, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users to ensure system accuracy, reliability, and performance.
- Data Migration & Integration: Coordinate data cleansing, validation, and mapping activities for data migration from legacy systems to the new platform, as well as support system integration with other internal/external applications.
- Change Management & Training: Create user manuals, training materials, and conduct training sessions for the HR team and general employees to ensure smooth system adoption and transition.
- Support & Hypercare: Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot functional issues, and offer continuous consultation to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Computer, Information Technology, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience as an HR Functional Consultant, HR Systems Analyst, or an advanced HR Key User with proven experience in HRMS implementations.
- System Expertise: Hands-on experience with at least one major HRMS platform, such as [Specify system: e.g., Workday / SAP SuccessFactors / Oracle HCM / Humanica / ByteHR].
- HR Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of core HR lifecycles and practices, including basic labor laws, payroll structures, tax/social security regulations, and shift/time management.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly business language (Fluency in English is highly preferred).
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
