Job Description

The ideal candidate will act as an employee champion and a leader of change. You will plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's human resource function and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing a local shared service team to provide diversified employee services such as compensation & benefits, personnel management, visa management, employee management, and vendor management according to the company's needs;
  • Responsible for the quality, efficiency and compliance of the shared services operations, such as developing and optimizing work systems, processes, and team capabilities;
  • Participating in the company's policy review and formulation, continuously optimizing employee policies based on the trends of local market labor regulations;
  • Providing consultation services on Thai labor laws to BUs to mitigate human resources risks;
  • Liaising with government departments and facilitating communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Law, especially with specialization in HR management, business strategy, labor law, or related fields.
  • Excellent command of English (both written and spoken), essential for communication with global teams, leadership, and external stakeholders;
  • Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is preferred to facilitate collaboration with regional teams.
  • At least 10 - 15 years of progressive experience in HR, Shared Services, or Operations management, with significant experience at senior management or leadership levels;
  • Proven success in leading and managing large, multi-functional shared service teams delivering comprehensive employee services including personnel management, visa management, compensation & benefits, and vendor management;
  • Experience in stakeholder management at executive levels and building strong partnerships with government bodies and external agencies;
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Thai labor laws and regulatory compliance, including risk mitigation;
  • Demonstrated involvement in policy formulation and implementation, especially adapting policies to local labor regulations and market trends;
  • Track record of leading organizational change, process optimization, and digital transformation initiatives in shared services;
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to motivate, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
