Key Tasks (Corporate Management): HR Compliance & Employee Relations
Lead and manage the full employee lifecycle for an organization of approximately 50 employees, ensuring effective workforce planning, recruitment, employee management, labor compliance, and HR operations.
The role is responsible for maintaining workforce continuity, addressing high employee turnover, strengthening employee retention, and ensuring that HR processes are practical, consistent, measurable, and compliant with applicable labor laws.
1. Full-loop Employee Lifecycle Management
- Design, implement, and continuously improve HR processes covering the complete employee lifecycle, from workforce planning and recruitment through onboarding, performance management, resignation, and offboarding.
- Ensure HR processes are practical, standardized, measurable, and appropriate for organizational needs.
- Coordinate with management, team leaders, and employees to ensure HR processes are effectively implemented.
2. Workforce Planning & Recruitment
- Translate business, organizational, and project requirements into manpower plans, job requirements, and candidate qualifications.
- Proactively source candidates based on current and anticipated resource needs, including upcoming projects and project pitches.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job description development, job posting, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, case assignments, offers, employment agreements, pre-onboarding, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain a relevant talent pipeline for future organizational needs.
- Coordinate with management and project leaders to ensure appropriate resources are available when required.
3. HR Documentation, Policy & Labor Compliance
- Prepare, review, and maintain all employment and HR-related documentation throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Manage employment agreements, amendments, probation documents, performance documentation, PIP documents, warning letters, resignation documents, termination documents, and other HR correspondence.
- Develop and maintain the Employee Handbook, company regulations, leave and attendance policies, HR guidelines, and related procedures.
- Ensure HR policies, employment practices, documentation, and company regulations comply with applicable labor laws and organizational requirements.
- Monitor labor law requirements and recommend necessary updates to HR practices and documentation.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential employee records.
- Coordinate with external legal advisors or relevant authorities on labor and employment matters when required.
4. Performance Management & Employee Relations
- Establish and manage performance management processes from probation through ongoing employee evaluation.
- Coordinate probation evaluations and ensure performance expectations, concerns, and required improvements are clearly documented and communicated.
- Work with management to identify and address underperformance, behavioral concerns, attendance issues, workplace conflicts, grievances, and other employee-related matters.
- Advise management on appropriate HR actions while ensuring fairness, consistency, proper documentation, and compliance with labor requirements.
- Provide recommendations regarding employee performance, development, retention, disciplinary actions, and other workforce decisions.
5. Disciplinary, Resignation & Termination Management
- Manage employee disciplinary processes, including verbal or written warnings, performance improvement plans (PIP), probation decisions, and other corrective actions.
- Assess legal, procedural, and organizational risks before disciplinary or termination decisions are implemented.
- Ensure disciplinary actions and termination processes are properly documented and conducted in accordance with applicable labor laws and company policies.
- Manage resignation and termination processes, including required documentation, notice periods, compensation, knowledge transfer, company asset return, and exit interviews.
- Provide management with practical recommendations for handling sensitive employee cases and escalate high-risk legal matters to external advisors when necessary.
We are looking for a BRANDist with:
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Management or related field
- At least 4-year experience in a related role
- Ability to competently manage and proficiently handle numerous responsibilities at once in an atmosphere of tensions, interruptions, continuous changes, and constantly shifting priorities
- Ability to build and maintain Positive Energy in teams and the company
- Flexibility and adaptability to manipulate a range of different tasks and to work extra hours to meet deadlines or to tackle with workload
- Commitment to constantly seek opportunities to optimize processes and improve efficiency and maximize productivity
- Positive attitude with a rolls-up-your-sleeves mindset and a can-do approach
- Proficient oral and written communication skills both Thai and English with an appropriate manner
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or Google Workspace.
