About the Role
The Human Resources Manager leads SCG's people strategy by overseeing talent acquisition, employee engagement, workforce planning, and HR initiatives that support business growth in Thailand. This role partners closely with business leaders and regional stakeholders to develop effective HR strategies, foster a positive workplace culture, and ensure an exceptional employee experience. The position requires strong communication skills in both Chinese and English to support collaboration with international stakeholders and Chinese-speaking employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives and workforce needs.
- Lead end-to-end talent acquisition activities, including recruitment planning, sourcing strategies, interviewing, and hiring for key positions.
- Partner with business leaders to understand organizational needs and provide strategic HR support.
- Oversee employee onboarding, performance management, talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines through recruitment platforms, universities, professional networks, and employer branding activities.
- Ensure compliance with Thai labour laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
- Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with regional teams and international stakeholders to support cross-border HR initiatives and projects.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team while promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Management, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in human resources, talent acquisition, HR business partnering, or people management (not mandatory), with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
- Familiarity with Thai labour laws and HR policies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Microsoft Office is an advantage.
- Communication proficiency in Chinese (HSK 6+) and English.
