We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the full spectrum of our client's Thailand Human Resources functions in the energy industry. This role covers talent acquisition, payroll, employee relations, performance management, compliance, HR operations, workforce planning and will serve as the key HR representative locally and liaise closely with the Global HQ to ensure alignment with group policies.
The successful candidate will also support HR digitalisation initiatives, including HRIS enhancement and the use of AI tools to improve efficiency and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, payroll administration, and employee relations
- Ensure compliance with Thailand labor laws and statutory requirement
- Lead talent acquisition activities and partner with business leaders on manpower planning
- Drive performance management processes, including KPI/OKR implementation and performance review cycles
- Support workforce budgeting, headcount planning, and payroll cost monitoring
- Oversee HRIS implementation, process improvements, and HR digitalization initiatives
- Prepare HR metrics and reports, providing insights to support business decisions
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- 5–8 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of Thailand labor laws, payroll administration, and statutory compliance
- Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management
- Exposure to manpower planning, budgeting, and HR analytics is advantageous
- Experience with HRIS systems and AI-enabled HR tools is preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience within commodities, energy, oil & gas, trading, or related industries is a plus
