Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Reports to: General Manager
Role will be covered by a suitable person as nominated by Management.
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all human resources functions within PMG Shipyard, ensuring compliance with labour laws, supporting shipyard operations, and developing effective HR systems aligned with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and systems in accordance with company standards and Thai labour law
Manage manpower planning, recruitment, selection, onboarding, and exit processes for shipyard, engineering, and support staff
Oversee payroll coordination, compensation & benefits, service charge administration (if applicable), and tax compliance
Ensure compliance with Thai labour law, social security, employment regulations, work permits, and immigration requirements
Handle employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, investigations, and conflict resolution
Support and monitor probation evaluations, performance appraisals, and contract renewals
Advise Management on HR strategy, workforce planning, organizational structure, and employee engagement
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation
Coordinate training, development, and induction programs for new and existing employees
Work closely with Department Managers to support operational manpower requirements
Prepare HR reports, manpower statistics, and analysis for Management review

Safety Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that you and all employees under your control work safely and comply with all current and relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation.
You are responsible for ensuring that employees implement safe systems of work according to PMG procedures.
You are responsible for ensuring your own safety and that of employees under your control, visitors, and the general public while on PMG property.
You must adhere to all criteria contained within the PMG IMS, the PMG Staff Handbook, the Safety, Health and Environment Handbook, and the Drivers Handbook.
You must adhere to all criteria relating to the Company Substance Misuse Policy.
You must ensure that accidents, incidents, and near misses involving yourself or employees under your control are reported, recorded, and the accident book is completed promptly.
