Job Description

The HR Assistant is responsible for supporting payroll administration and HR operations to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing for approximately 300 employees in Thailand. This role will play a key role in payroll data validation, overtime administration, leave management, statutory deductions, and employee records management.

The successful candidate must possess strong payroll administration experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately under strict payroll deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Administration

  • Prepare and maintain monthly payroll input data for approximately 300 employees.
  • Collect, review, and verify payroll information including:
  • Overtime payments
  • Shift allowances
  • Leave deductions
  • Attendance records
  • Salary adjustments
  • New hires and resignations
  • Employee loans and other deductions
  • Validate payroll data and supporting documents before payroll processing.
  • Maintain payroll checklists and payroll change logs.
  • Perform payroll reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Verify employee bank account information and payroll payment files.
  • Assist in preparing payroll reports and management summaries.

Benefits & Statutory Administration

  • Administer Social Security Fund (SSF) submissions.
  • Support payroll tax administration and annual tax reporting.
  • Process provident fund contributions and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Thai employment regulations.

HR Administration

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Process employee lifecycle transactions including onboarding, transfers, and offboarding.
  • Update HRIS and employee databases.
  • Prepare employment-related letters and HR documents.
  • Assist with employee inquiries relating to payroll, benefits, and HR matters.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of payroll administration experience in Thailand.
  • Experience processing payroll for at least 200 employees is preferred.
  • Experience working with payroll systems and HRIS platforms.
