Job Description – HR Specialist
Location: Birla Carbon Angthong, Thailand Reports to: HR Head
Future Path: Successor pipeline for Department Head role within 5 years
Position Overview
We are seeking a high-potential HR Specialist to join Birla Carbon Angthong. This role is designed as a strategic talent position, preparing the incumbent to assume the Department Head role within the next five years. The HR Specialist will support and lead initiatives across HR strategy, employee engagement, succession planning, CSR integration, and compliance, while developing leadership capabilities for future organizational stewardship.
Key Responsibilities
• HR Strategy Execution Support implementation of HR goals aligned with corporate and Asia regional priorities, including workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.
• Employee Engagement & Culture Drive engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and Vibes survey action plans to strengthen workplace culture.
• Talent & Succession Planning Partner with leadership to identify high-potential employees, manage GELP programs, and ensure succession pipelines are in place.
• HR Analytics & Workforce Management Utilize HR data to monitor manpower, overtime, contract labor, and cost optimization. Provide insights into decision-making.
• Compliance & Governance Ensure adherence to Thai labor laws, corporate HR policies, and sustainability reporting standards.
• CSR & Community Relations Collaborate with CSR teams to integrate HR with community impact initiatives, aligning with Birla Carbon's sustainability goals.
• Leadership Development Actively participate in leadership training, mentoring, and cross-functional projects to prepare for future Department Head responsibilities.
