Purpose of role:

Responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, building strong relationships with partners, and tracking market trends as well as develop people and create good moral and the right culture among sales team

Responsibilities include:

Channel Strategy Development

  • Plan for channel strategy and ensure perfect execution in stores IDP BKK and UPC
  • Understanding category/shopper and trade environment/customers among each channel and developing strategy and below the line plan to support sales team to achieve sales target

Sales & Negotiation

  • Channel IDP BKK and UPC - Drive sales to achieve target both sales in and sell out
  • Utilize trade spent according to Trade Marketing guideline
  • Measuring sales performance to determine whether the team is making progress toward goals

Profitable Revenue Management

  • Deliver Profitable value sales growth and optimise customer margin, through improved return on trade investment and active mix management
  • Thorough understanding of category management, product assortment, merchandising, promotion and pricing including P&L
  • Drive success, including: Margins, discount levels, basic P&L

Relationship Building & Management

  • Lead IDP sales team both BKK and UPC to work strategically well plan and execution, to achieve sales in and sell out target
  • Ensure basic fundamental is right at point of purchase pricing, assortment, planogram, product availability, inventory, including PA.
  • Ensure key customers satisfaction and strengthen business relationship
  • Understand Route-to-Market, insight of each shop type and find way to grow business with them - Increase distribution and trade up.
  • Evaluate and review monthly field execution results, interpret outputs, and recommend corrective action
  • Monitoring and analyzing the performance of channel partners, using data to make informed decisions and adjustments to strategies.
  • Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities

Excellence in Execution

  • Ensure sales, fnance and legal policies and procedures are met
  • Ensure sales operation is smooth accuracy of demand forecast, service level, Blackmores inventory level and manage returned products at optimum level.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
  • Trade spent control and utilized to generate maximum return
  • Coordinate with distributor and manage to improve service level and reduce return
  • Providing training and support to channel partners to ensure they have the knowledge and tools needed to effectively sell the companys products
  • Meets internal reporting timelines & requirements

People Management

  • Managing recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Supervise and support team member to achieve team objectives including Product Advisors
  • Review performance of direct reports and could propose the right person into right position
  • Foster efficient teamwork and cohesive team dynamics

Who are you

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in channel sales management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong commercial knowledge in FMCG or the vitamins and health supplements market, including trends, regulations, and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with Pharmacy store partners.
  • Data-driven and strategic mindset, with the ability to analyze market trends and sales performance to inform decision-making.
  • Leadership skills, with experience managing and developing a sales team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
