Key Responsibilities
- Manage import customs clearance processes for raw materials, machinery, and equipment under BOI and Free Zone schemes.
- Review and verify import declaration documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with Thai customs regulations.
- Coordinate with customs brokers and relevant authorities to complete import declaration, inspection, and cargo release.
- Maintain bonded inventory records (inbound, outbound, and stock balance) and ensure physical stock aligns with system records.
- Support BOI and Customs audits and inspections; prepare required documentation and reports.
- Classify HS Codes accurately and handle customs-related issues, including HS Code disputes, declaration discrepancies, additional document submissions, duty payments, and corrective actions.
- Monitor changes in customs regulations and ensure compliance in all import activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in import/export customs operations in Thailand.
- Solid experience in BOI and Free Zone operations and strong knowledge of Thai customs regulations.
- Experience handling bonded warehouse inventory control and customs documentation.
- Strong HS Code classification skills.
- Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) as a working language.
- Customs Broker License (Registered Customs Broker) is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented, strong problem-solving skills, and able to work under pressure.
