Import Export Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Manage import operations for Crop Protection and Corn business (Seeds & non-Seeds)
• Ensure timely availability and validity of import permits
• Provide guidance on Customs, Tariffs and duties/taxes
• Manage export operations for Corn business (R&D seeds)
• Monitor and guide to freight forwarder on import shipment processes through customs clearance and shipment release
• Monitor and analyze freight costs to drive cost efficiency
• Identify improvement opportunities within Import Export operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in import or export operations, with knowledge of SAP
• Familiarity with various logistics modes, including ocean, air, rail, truck and parcel shipments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of trade compliance and supplier Management is strongly preferred
• Experience in handling dangerous goods or seeds business would be an advantage
