Import Export Officer

Responsibilities

• Compile customer's daily and weekly report (eg. Import duty, payment summary, etc.)
• Follow-up on order taken and advise customer on their shipment status and details immediately upon receiving shipment details.
• Coordinating with the trucking operators and to suffice customer's requirements.
• Recognize customer's problem and primary resolve them to achieve satisfaction.
• Engage the help of other sections if necessary to resolve the problems.
• Handle customer's complaints, claims, disputes cases and feedback to supervisor or related parties for corrective action.
• Ensure proper documentation is present for efficient follow up.

Requirements

• Provides operations support to other team in the organization.
• Work co-operatively with Superiors, team members for effective alignment and implementations of Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions
• Builds smooth and strong relationships with client and other DSC Maxim employees by means of open communications and feedback method.
• Ensure proper use of tools and equipment's provided to support the operations.
• Attend to all required trainings, orientations, re-training and re-orientations necessary in the job function.
• Help to ensure to preserve both the image of the company and Customers Company by meeting if not exceeding customers expectations.
• Implement and strictly follow Manifest Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions
• Feedback any issues to superior for immediate resolution and disposition
• Helps in mentoring new member of the team in Manifest work around.
• Helps maintains a consistent safe and healthy working environment in accordance with the policies and procedures of DHL.
• Recommend improvements and initiatives.
• Helps mentoring team's new member
• Participate in daily 5S activity
