Job Description & summary:

A standard Payment Testing Job Description (JD) focuses on ensuring the security, compliance, and flawless execution of payment gateways, POS terminals, and banking networks. Key responsibilities include validating transaction lifecycles (Authorization, Clearing, Settlement) and handling messaging standards like ISO 8583 or ISO 20022. 

 

Responsibilities 

• Transaction Testing: Execute test cases across the entire transaction lifecycle, including authorization, capture, settlement, refunds, and chargebacks. 
  

• Message Validation: Verify payload data and compliance with protocols like ISO 8583, ISO 20022 (MT/MX messages), SWIFT, and SEPA. 
  

• API & Database Testing: Utilize tools like Postman or Swagger to test endpoints and validate database transactions using SQL. 
  

• Ecosystem Familiarity: Perform end-to-end testing integrating with major networks like Visa, Mastercard, and domestic systems like UPI.

Essential Requirements 

• Experience: 7+ years in QA/Software Testing, with a strong focus on the Fintech or Banking and Financial Services (BFSI) domain. 
  

• Tools: Proficiency in automation frameworks (Selenium, Java, Rest Assured) and defect tracking software (JIRA, ALM). 
  

• Compliance: Working knowledge of payment security standards (e.g., PCI-DSS).  
  

• Specific domains : payments domain 
  

• Qualification:B.E,B.Tech,M.E,M.Tech,MCA
