In 2021, we launched KARAVA, introducing contemporary designs to traditional Thai spiritual statues. Our creations, including the modern polygon-styled Lord Ganesha statue, merge cultural heritage with modern design. We create visually stunning products that carry deep cultural significance, aiming to bridge the past and present with every piece we craft.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Bangkok, responsible for leading the inbound marketing efforts focused on the Chinese-speaking market, particularly targeting Chinese tourists and residents in Thailand. The Inbound Marketing Executive will develop strategic campaigns to increase brand awareness and foot traffic to our retail stores, manage social media channels on Chinese platforms, and collaborate with partners and influencers.

This role requires a highly motivated, culturally fluent communicator who understands the nuances of Chinese digital behavior and is capable of crafting localized content that resonates deeply with the audience. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to turn cultural insights into impactful marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify Chinese consumer trends, content formats, and platform usage.
  • Plan and execute inbound marketing campaigns to attract and convert Chinese-speaking customers.
  • Manage and create localized content for platforms like WeChat, XiaoHongShu (RED), and Douyin.
  • Identify and coordinate with Chinese KOLs and influencers based in Thailand for collaborations and reviews.
  • Organize promotional events and strategic partnerships with malls or retail stores to drive walk-in traffic.
  • Design culturally relevant promotions, gift sets, and activation campaigns.
  • Coordinate internal teams to ensure timely execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies based on data and insights.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (speaking, reading, writing) and professional working proficiency in Thai or English.
  • Strong understanding of the Chinese digital ecosystem and tourist behavior in Thailand.
  • Experience creating content with native tone and cultural relevance across Chinese platforms.
  • Knowledge of KOL/influencer marketing and experience working with Chinese creators in Thailand is a plus.
  • Background in marketing, communications, or Chinese studies, with at least 12 years of experience in a related role.
  • Creative, hands-on, and goal-oriented mindset someone who takes action, not just plans.
  • High attention to detail, ability to multitask, and excellent time management.
  • Passion for lifestyle, fashion, or spiritual products is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with HARMENSTONE or KARAVA is a strong advantage.
