Job Description

Incoming Quality Engineer – To coordinate Incoming Quality activities relating to the Assembly Line. This includes Body exterior parts, Interior parts, Electrical, Chassis, Power train, mechanisms, and AC system.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Plant Incoming Quality and Manufacturing Plant Operating of supplier quality issue daily basis.
  • Manage supplier quality PPM and maintain statistics, compute and publish monthly supplier ppm performance reports and maintain supplier performance statistics.
  • Ensure that all IQ records, GSAR QRs, 8Ds, Inspection report, MOMs et are clearly identified, address and stored for reference and discarded as when required.
  • Develop and implement Brake fluid surveillance process in FIL as per quality procedures.
  • Oversee the ongoing implementation of CAI, FCPA audits, Batch, and Hold for known supplier quality defects.
  • Respond to supplier's Q1 endorsements as a customer.
  • Review supplier 8Ds for content and decide on acceptance or rejection.
  • Follow up with suppliers (both imported and local) for effective problem-solving.
  • Coordinate ISO9001 internal audits and management reviews for the Incoming Quality section and implement corrective actions based on the audit findings.
  • Assess Q1 suppliers quarterly.
  • Establish and maintain a supplier quality issue tracking system which will help in effective follow-up and tracking of issues to closure.
  • Develop and maintain an effective IQ communication to VRT's and plant management.
  • Oversee and direct the activities of the IQ section and develop the team to handle independently supplier quality.
  • Available to work shifts.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor Degree or Higher in engineering field
  • 3-5 year experiences in Automotive manufacturing.
  • Automobile industry, Auditing skills, master in ISO9001
  • Quality control, quality assurance, quality management
  • Manufacturing, international communication, problem solving, Vehicle investigation skills
  • Team collaboration between internal peers and external partners
  • Familiar with FPS, QOS, VRT & IQ process
  • Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Data analysis, Understanding of GSAR-QR system
  • Full Car driving license
  • Good written & oral English
  • New Graduate are welcome
