Overview
This role is responsible for sourcing and managing indirect materials and services, including equipment, spare parts, office supplies, and related services, through both local and international suppliers. The position works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely procurement of the right products and services at optimal cost, quality, and service levels.
The role focuses on supplier negotiation, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) optimization, purchase order management, and supplier performance tracking, while continuously monitoring market trends to identify opportunities for cost efficiency, innovation, and value improvement. Strong coordination, analytical skills, and system proficiency are key to success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Local and/or Import sourcing indirect material (such as equipment, spare parts, office supply and services).
- Cooperate with related parties for requirement to source and supply right one on time.
- Negotiate & Manage Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) at best value.
- Manage PO (PO issuing and delivery tracking) and suppliers to supply right quality, quantity and time (on time in full).
- Record supplier performance and price.
- Market trend update to bring new things and/or value items for products and operation.
- Initiate owned KPI and tracking record.
- Fluent in English and SAP operation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields
- Proven experience in indirect procurement or sourcing within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong negotiation skills with experience managing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
- Experience in purchase order management, supplier coordination, and delivery tracking
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and KPI tracking skills
