As an Indirect Procurement Operations Specialist, you will manage the purchasing and supply of Capex, Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO), and Business Services categories for plant operations in Thailand. You will work closely with Project Engineering, Process Continuous Improvement, Maintenance, EHS, Quality, Administration, suppliers, and corporate procurement teams to ensure competitive cost, quality, compliance, and on-time delivery. This role is part of the TH Indirect Procurement Operations team and partners closely with the Senior Supervisor, Indirect Procurement Operations Thailand.

What you will do:

  • Manage purchasing and supply activities across Capex, MRO, and Business Services categories, supporting an annual third-party spend of approximately USD 10 million.

  • Work with internal stakeholders, corporate teams, and suppliers to ensure clear specifications, aligned expectations, and effective execution in line with business objectives.

  • Deliver value through cost savings, cost avoidance, and working capital improvement while maintaining high standards of product and service quality.

  • Initiate contact with vendors to check supply and equipment availability, issue purchase orders, and follow up on invoices to support smooth operations.

  • Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring planned outcomes are delivered in a timely and effective manner.

  • Define and enforce proactive procurement processes and policies, ensuring compliance and adherence to ethical sourcing standards.

  • Review and manage contracts within existing procurement frameworks and support special projects and ad hoc business requests under the guidance of the Procurement Supervisor.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science, Business Administration, or a related field MBA is preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical engineering purchasing and business services procurement.

  • Knowledge of import processes, competitive bidding statutes, purchasing procedures, and contract review including key commercial terms and conditions.

  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to think strategically, build TCO-based business justifications, and make informed decisions in complex or ambiguous situations.

  • Good command of English and strong interpersonal skills for managing relationships with teams, internal customers, and suppliers.
