This role is responsible for defining and executing the Indirect Services procurement strategy across facilities and corporate functions, ensuring alignment with overall corporate objectives. The position drives bestinclass procurement standards, delivers value through category management, strategic sourcing, supplier and contract management, and ensures responsible sourcing compliance across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Direction & Performance Management
- Define and execute the Indirect Services procurement strategy aligned with corporate strategy
- Set targets and track procurement performance against key KPIs
- Generate insights and recommend improvement initiatives at the facility and corporate levels
2. Best-in-Class Procurement Standards
- Drive implementation of procurement SOPs, policies, and systems (category management, sourcing, supplier management, P2P)
- Recommend standard adaptations to ensure operational effectiveness
3. End-to-End Category & Supplier Management
- Partner with plant purchasing teams and BU stakeholders to capture sourcing requirements
- Consolidate regional demand to leverage economies of scale and increase competitiveness
- Develop sourcing plans, timelines, and order allocation strategies
- Manage supplier pipeline (RFI/RFP/RFQ), conduct market intelligence, and monitor regulatory changes
- Define supplier selection criteria, evaluate bids, and support audits with Supplier Quality teams
- Track supplier performance, drive corrective actions, and maintain supplier master data
4. Contract Management & Governance
- Translate business needs into contractual KPIs and SLAs
- Negotiate and manage contracts using group templates in collaboration with Legal and Contract Management
- Monitor contract milestones, renewals, and terminations
5. Responsible Sourcing
- Implement Group Responsible Sourcing policies and standards
- Track and report responsible sourcing KPIs; take corrective actions as required
Qualifications & Competencies
- 5+ years of managerial experience in strategic sourcing, category, and supplier management (manufacturing preferred)
- Strong expertise in strategic and responsible sourcing across facility and corporate environments
- Proven stakeholder management across multiple levels
- Strong analytical, presentation, and project management skills
- Team-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable
- Willingness to travel regionally
