Position overview:

As an Industrial Energy Efficiency Engineer at Terao Asia, you will be involved in designing, implementing, and managing energy efficiency projects for our industrial clients. Your expertise will be essential in identifying opportunities to reduce energy consumption, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and enhance overall sustainability within our clients facilities.

Job Description:

Reporting to the South-East Asia Operations Director, the Industrial Energy Efficiency Engineer works on TERAO projects in Asia, focusing on industrial facilities. Key responsibilities include:

• Energy Audits & Analysis: Perform energy audits to identify savings opportunities.
• Data Analysis: Evaluate energy consumption and process data for tailored efficiency solutions.
• Recommendations: Propose strategies for energy efficiency improvements.
• Project Management: Manage projects, liaise with clients, and ensure deliverables are met.
• Performance Monitoring: Implement and track energy monitoring systems.
• Commissioning Services: Provide commissioning and data-driven HVAC operation analysis.
• Client Collaboration: Build strong client relationships and serve as an energy efficiency advisor.
• Communication: Draft organized and accurate reports and correspondence.

Requirement:

Qualifications

• Master's in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4-5 years in industrial energy efficiency or related fields.
• 2 years in MEP commissioning, installation, and functional testing.
• CEM or similar certification preferred.

Skills

• Expertise in ASHRAE energy audits and industrial processes (HVAC, motors, heat recovery).
• Strong project management, communication, and knowledge of ISO 50001.

Abilities

• Technical aptitude, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Software

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with energy modeling (e.g., DesignBuilder, IES-VE) or MEP design tools is a plus.
