The Industrial engineer is working to support manufacturing in a portion of Capacity planning, Capital, Equipment planning, Layout planning, and then execute per plan (The resources are Space, Equipment, and HPU (Hour Per Unit)). To provide a plan for other departments that aligned with demand.
. Plan equipment capacity & tooling by alignment with the Technology roadmap, capacity commitment, and all commodities capacity alignment
. Calculate and analyze Capacity and Capital requirements for what-if scenarios and create dashboards and reports efficiently
. Summarize and analyze equipment assumptions and the Technology roadmap for Equipment capacity impact and concern
. Understand process flow and calculate HPU (Hour Per Unit) requirement by considering product mix, process requirement, and roadmap
. Apply Lean concept and IE (Industrial Engineering) tools to improve the efficiency & effectiveness of resource and capacity planning
. Build up and design a system for automated data workflow to align with Factory 4.0
. Apply data analytics, Simulation techniques, and AI (Python, Power BI, Tableau, Flexsim, or Arena) in IE roles to identify trends, predict bottlenecks, and improve decision making
. Good interpersonal, teamwork, communication, presentation skills, and leadership
. Having a good attitude and taking ownership of job responsibility
. Able to prioritize multiple tasks, manage conflicting deadlines, and work effectively in a dynamic environment
. Strong analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven problem solving
. Good communication and teamwork skills able to work in a fast-paced environment
. Curious, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies
. Good command of English, both spoken and written communication
. Bachelor's or higher degree in Industrial Engineering and/or relevant experience
. Background on IE (Industrial Engineer) or Capacity planning
. Intermediate to advance level in MS Excel
. Experience in Data analytics and Simulation platforms
. Good knowledge of Hard Disk Drive manufacturing and Slider operation
