Job Description
Responsibility:
Team Leadership & Mentoring
Leading, training, and mentoring a team of industrial and manufacturing engineers, setting performance expectations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Process Optimization
Analyzing existing workflows, production data, and performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
Conduct time studies and gather data on production processes to determine the most efficient methods and identify areas for improvement.
Analyze data collected during time studies to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas where productivity can be enhanced.
Design and implement work methods, procedures, and layouts to optimize workflow and minimize waste.
Strategy Implementation
Developing and implementing strategies, processes, and systems to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance.
Continuous Improvement
Driving initiatives using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, OEE and Kaizen to ensure operational excellence and utilize software tools and systems to track and monitor productivity metrics.
Quality & Safety Assurance
Ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards) and create
Update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Collaboration & Communication
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineers, supply chain, quality assurance and relate function, to develop and implement process improvement initiatives.
Technical Implementation
Overseeing the design of facility layouts, equipment installation, and integration of automation or new technologies
Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Related Fields.
Proficiency in work study methodologies, work measurement techniques, and process improvement tools such as Lean Kaizen OEE.
Proven experience in conducting work studies and implementing process improvement initiatives.
Experience working in a manufacturing such as furniture or production assembly will be given special consideration.

Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

minimum of 5-10 years of experience in an engineering role, with significant proven experience in process optimization, project management, and team leadership.
Strong mathematical and statistical skills.
Advanced knowledge of productivity software tools, such as Microsoft Excel or statistical analysis software, to analyze data and generate reports.
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience with quality standards (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001)
Good command in spoken and written English
