About the Role
We are looking for an Industrial Local Team Engineer (NPI) to join our New Product Introduction (NPI) team in Thailand. In this role, you will act as Ingenico's on-site industrial representative, ensuring the successful execution of NPI activities at our EMS manufacturing partner and supporting smooth product transfers from R&D into production.
This is a Permanent, Full-time role based in Bangkok (Cal-Comp Factory, Mahachai), reporting to the NPI leadership team.
What You Will Do
- Act as the local Ingenico representative at the EMS site to oversee and support NPI production activities
- Manage NPI On-Time Delivery (OTD) and Work-In-Progress (WIP) clearance to meet qualification and delivery targets
- Collaborate closely with Industrial Project Leaders (IPL) to resolve day-to-day production issues and drive yield improvement
- Support prototype builds and the transfer of new products from R&D into mass production
- Lead production trials in line with TIP processes and Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets
- Perform regular audits of production lines to ensure manufacturing files, processes, and standards are fully respected
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to process efficiency, quality, productivity, and capacity planning
- Support quality improvement plans linked to product or process design changes
- Maintain Ingenico equipment at EMS sites, including traceability set-up and spare parts management
- Ensure effective implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and tooling management standards
- Work cross-functionally with R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Security, and Manufacturing teams to achieve project objectives
What You Will Bring
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Communications, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- English proficiency equivalent to CET-4 or above
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in NPI or industrial engineering within the electronics manufacturing industry
- Hands-on exposure to the full product lifecycle from R&D to mass production
Technical Skills
- Solid understanding of electronic manufacturing processes, PCBA, and failure analysis
- Knowledge of DFX principles, ISO9000/ISO14000 standards, and lean manufacturing
- Ability to analyze circuits, identify faults, and use standard diagnostic and testing instruments
- Familiarity with SAP and PLM/ERP systems
- Project management awareness (PMP knowledge is a plus)
