The KOL Buyer / Influencer Specialist is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and managing influencers (KOLs) for marketing campaigns. This role ensures the right creators are selected to match brand objectives, target audiences, and budgets while delivering measurable campaign results.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, research, and shortlist suitable KOLs / influencers aligned with campaign objectives and brand positioning
- Evaluate influencer performance using metrics such as engagement rate, reach, audience demographics, and content quality
- Negotiate rates and manage influencer budgets to maximize ROI
- Coordinate with influencers, talent agencies, and internal teams from briefing to content delivery
- Prepare influencer proposals, cost breakdowns, and campaign plans
- Review and approve influencer content to ensure alignment with briefs, brand guidelines, and timelines
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize influencer selection when needed
- Analyze results and prepare campaign performance reports
- Stay updated on influencer trends, platforms, and emerging creators
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 13 years of experience in Influencer Marketing, KOL management, or Media Buying
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X)
- Excellent negotiation and budget management skills
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze campaign performance
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and meet deadlines
