Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solution Architect to design, assess, and deliver enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure Infrastructure, Azure Migrate, Azure Networking, Azure SQL, and cloud migration projects. This role requires hands-on experience in designing Azure Landing Zones, developing target architectures, and leading complex infrastructure modernization and migration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess on-premises and cloud infrastructure environments using Azure Migrate.
- Design and architect Azure infrastructure solutions for enterprise cloud migration projects.
- Develop end-to-end Azure migration strategies and implementation roadmaps.
- Design and implement Azure Landing Zone architectures following Microsoft best practices.
- Create Azure High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), architecture diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Prepare Azure Bill of Materials (BoM), pricing estimates, and licensing recommendations.
- Lead migration of on-premises workloads to Microsoft Azure.
- Design Azure compute, networking, storage, identity, governance, monitoring, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Troubleshoot Azure and Windows infrastructure issues related to networking, clustering, storage, memory, processors, and performance.
- Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform and PowerShell.
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and project teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective cloud solutions.
- Conduct solution presentations and provide technical guidance throughout project delivery.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in Microsoft Azure Infrastructure.
- Expertise in Azure Migrate for infrastructure assessment and migration.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Azure SQL (IaaS/PaaS)
- Azure Networking
- Azure Storage
- Azure Key Vault
- Azure Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Azure DevOps
- Experience designing Azure Landing Zones.
- Strong knowledge of Azure architecture, governance, and security best practices.
- Experience preparing HLD, LLD, and Azure architecture diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Azure and Windows environments.
- Experience leading enterprise cloud migration projects.
Preferred Skills
- PowerShell scripting.
- Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Puppet.
- Designing data storage solutions.
- Designing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) solutions.
- Identity, governance, and monitoring solutions.
- Experience working in Banking, Healthcare, or Insurance domains.
- RiverMeadow experience is an advantage.
Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent (B.E./B.Tech/BCA/MCA or equivalent).
