Job Summary:
We are seeking a forward-thinking and analytical Innovation & IP Strategy Analyst to join our Corporate Innovation Office. Moving beyond traditional IP protection, this role sits at the dynamic intersection of technology intelligence, business strategy, and open innovation. You will play a crucial role in analyzing competitive landscapes, unlocking new business opportunities through innovation management, technology commercialization, and licensing, and supporting strategic partnerships to maximize the value of our innovation portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Technology Intelligence & Strategy: Analyze technology landscapes and conduct competitive intelligence (including patent mapping & analysis) to identify new business opportunities and technological trends. (Technology field: AI, Digital, Advanced materials, etc.)
- Innovation & IP Management: Design and implement Innovation & IP protection strategies for key business assets. Collaborate with Business, R&D, and legal teams to capture inventions and manage the existing innovation portfolio.
- Commercialization & Licensing: Evaluate and support technology commercialization initiatives, focusing on licensing-out opportunities, IP sales, and strategic value creation.
- Open Innovation & Partnerships: Support Open Innovation initiatives by supporting technology analysis and IP due diligence for technology business investments, M&A, Joint Ventures, and external partnerships.
- AI Platform & Process Enhancement on Innovation & IP: Support the team in executing new initiatives to enhance innovation management processes and explore global benchmarks to improve innovation & IP management platforms.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Digital & Technology, or related fields (New graduates with strong analytical skills are welcome).
- Strong interest or background knowledge in emerging technologies (e.g., AI technology, Advanced Materials, etc.).
- Experience or strong interest in Technology Management, Innovation Strategy, or Business Development.
- Solid project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Nice to have: Basic knowledge of intellectual property (IP) is a plus, but a strategic mindset and willingness to learn are more important.
