Purpose of role:

The Innovation Manager drives product portfolio strategy and end-to-end new product development, from identifying market opportunities to successful commercialization. The role prioritizes innovation pipelines, develops NPD roadmaps, and leverages consumer, market, and competitive insights to guide decisions. Accountable for product launches, positioning, pricing, and early-stage performance, the Innovation Manager analyzes business results, manages P&L responsibilities, leads cross-functional alignment, and develops a high-performing team to deliver sustainable growth and innovation success.

Responsibilities include:

Product development and project management

• Lead an agile NPS customer sentiment score roadmap, ensuring customer satisfaction as top goal in the organisation with our product benefits and pricing
• Plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed
• Develop an environment which fosters the successful running of projects
• Ensure NPD/education resources adequate to support current & future business plan

Strong influencer of innovation pipeline/NPDs

• Based on Thailand's category and competitive context, work out the right portfolio for the segments and influence Global stakeholders
• Work closely with Global Marketing and local team to deliver meaningful products that center on the needs of Thai consumers, including concepts, formulation, research, packaging etc.
• Lead disciplined post launch reviews of NPDs with course correction plans as needed

Financial Management and Administration

• Monitor and review performance against budget and forecast, and instigate remedial action to minimise adverse variances
• Manage compliance with all legal, statutory and corporate requirements (e.g. FDA) and ethical standards; manage exposure in these areas
• Develop and follow policies, procedures and controls to assist in the achievement of Marketing objectives and profit targets

People Management & Development

• Coach & develop a high performing team
• Build a team with diverse skills and backgrounds
• Excellent team leader to maintain effective collaboration with various stakeholders across various functions

Who are you

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, business administration or marketing
• Minimum 5 years commercial experience with least 2 years being a people leader
• Experience in managing the marketing of FMCG products across pharmacy, grocery and other retail channels
• Experience in health supplements, nutrition or skincare categories are strongly preferred.
• Good understanding of business financials and demand management
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is beneficial
• Proven track record in innovation/ NPD development, brand/campaign development
• Strong leadership – thought and inter-personal dimensions
• Fluent in Thai and English both verbal and written
• Strong analytical, project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Data-driven and strategic mindset, with the ability to analyze market trends and sales performance to inform decision-making.
