About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Inside Sales Team Lead to lead a team of Academic Counselors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving admissions, achieving revenue targets, coaching team members, and ensuring high-quality customer interactions. This role requires strong leadership, sales acumen, and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Academic Counselors to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Monitor daily sales activities, productivity, and conversion metrics.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions, call audits, and performance reviews to improve team effectiveness.
- Ensure timely follow-up with leads and maintain a high lead-to-enrollment conversion rate.
- Drive revenue growth by implementing effective sales strategies and best practices.
- Track and analyze sales performance, prepare MIS reports, and share actionable insights with management.
- Resolve customer escalations and ensure a superior counseling experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Operations, and Training to improve sales outcomes.
- Train new hires on sales processes, product knowledge, and counseling techniques.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, CRM hygiene, and compliance standards.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (master's degree preferred).
- 3–6 years of experience in inside sales or education sales, with at least 1–2 years of team handling experience.
- Prior experience leading Academic Counselors, Admission Counselors, or Education Sales teams is preferred.
- Strong understanding of consultative sales and customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Experience working with CRM tools and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.
