Job Description

This role leads supply chain planning activities and acts as a strategic partner to drive growth for MPRO (Magnum Professionals) channel a part of TCL (Thailand-Cambodia-Laos) Ice Cream Business, through service-cost-cash and innovation management.

In parallel, the role drives GTM Supply Chain Excellence for TH Cluster (Thailand-Cambodia-Laos, Malaysia-Singapore), owning process excellence, supply chain performance management and continuous improvement across Planning, Customer Experience and Logistics. The role ensures best-in-class service levels, cash improvement, cost optimization and capability development across the cluster.

Key Responsibilities:

MRPO Integrated Planning (TCL)

  • Representative in Country/ Sub-Cluster Business Unit with end-to-end demand and supply planning view
  • Lead forecast reviews in Consensus meetings (including pre-forecast, forecast, risks & opportunities, gap closing), ensuring volume forecast is aligned with financial forecasting. Ensure transparency of the demand plan activities (innovations, Promotions etc.) and assumptions across the horizons
  • Leads the E2E demand and supply including material planning reconciliation and trade-off decisions required. This includes short-term and Mid / Long-Term risks & opportunities
  • Leading the continuous improvement of the S&OP/S&OE processes
  • Serves and supports innovations/ activations to grow the business
  • Monitor and action business waste prevention Finished Goods, Packing and Raw Materials
  • Optimize inventory to ensure cash delivery to business
  • Managing capacity for inhouse and 3rd party production
  • Spearheading implementation of continuous improvement programs (e.g. tools, automation) initiated by Customer Operations and BU Supply Chain Organization requiring planning leadership.
  • Portfolio management and optimization
  • S&OP KPIs reporting and insights including leveraging of digital tools/ reports
  • Accountable for the delivery of S&OP KPIs in the Country/ Sub-Cluster Business Unit
  • Manage crisis Product availability, Quality issues, microbiological issues, etc.

Process Excellence (TH Cluster: Thailand-Cambodia-Laos & Malaysia-Singapore)

Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive best practices and standardized processes across markets to improve efficiency and reduce complexity.
  • Implement global & regional frameworks, programs and cascade to country team (example: S&OP Improvement, Inventory Loss Tree, Logistics Cost Optimization, ERP system migration, etc.)
  • Drive digital & automation agenda to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy & productivity
  • Collaborate with Global, Regional and Country Supply Chain teams (Planning, Logistics, Procurement, Manufacturing, etc.) to drive improvement for end-to-end supply chain processes and performance metrics.

Performance Management:

  • Lead/Faciliate performance review for Country E2E Supply Chain, as well as functional performance reviews
  • Collaborate with cross functions for RCA, data-driven insights for decision-making and action plan to ensure performance delivery
  • Key contact point in cross-functions and cross-markets workstreams such as IBP, SC Workplan.

Key Stakeholders:

  • Business partner with Head of MPRO TCL.
  • Work with integrated planning team (dotted line) to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, managing exceptions to mitigate risks.
  • Critical interface with CD, CSP, Marketing, Finance and R&D (MPRO LT) to review category assumptions, risks and opportunities, ensure service is optimized and scenario trade-offs are actioned, monitor business waste prevention, and network timeline of product launch
  • Partner with TH Cluster SCLT and Asia Supply Chain team (Process Excellence, Customer Experience, Logistics, Strategic Planning, Factory, Procurement) for monthly SC KPI review and optimise the engine driving business performance

Essential Experience/Skill/Knowledge:

  • Leading position within SC preferably with good technical skills/ knowledge in planning
  • At least 5 years experience in Supply Chain Planning, Customer Excellence & Logistics
  • People and Stakeholder Management

  • Good written and verbal English
  • Quick learner, team player, problem solver

Desirable Experience/Skill/Knowledge:

  • E2E Planning: Demand-Innovation-Supply Planning
  • S&OP and business environment understanding
  • Data driven decision making, Stakeholder management, performance management, scenario and exception-based planning
  • Strong Excel skills (especially Power Query)
  • Proficiency in Power BI, SAP, digital tools is a plus
  • Knowledge of data analytics, VBA, coding is a plus
