The Role
As an Intermediate Software Engineer in our Bangkok team, youll help build and maintain critical components of our HIS/EPR platform - supporting everything from patient administration to bed management, from clinician dashboards to backend integrations.
Youll collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, product owners, and health system experts, contributing to a product designed for high impact, realworld use.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Design & Development Liaise with Business Analysts and/or Product Owners to determine customer needs and translate these into new designs and development.
- Quality - Write well designed, testable production code and quality tests. Recognize testing as an integral part of the design process.
- Automation - Understand the impact of automation on product quality and productivity.
- Innovate Proactively seek opportunities to apply new patterns tools, technologies and processes while also sharing their knowledge with the wider team.
- Risk Management - Get involved and seek to investigate security breaches and recommend appropriate improvements.
- Maintenance & Support - Provide quality support by participating in discussions with the appropriate parties and communicates resolutions. Identify common root causes in support requests and work to identify and resolve systemic issues.
What youll bring:
- 5+ years of experience and deep understanding of TypeScript, React and CSS
- Familiarity with C# and SQL Server queries
- Skills in .NET development, REST API design, and automated testing
- Familiar with Docker and containerised development (Kubernetes a plus)
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, patterns, and trade-offs
- Proactive, analytical, and solutions-focused, with strong problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and lead technical work when needed
- Clear communicator with growing mentoring and collaboration skills
- Comfortable using English in a cross-functional, international team
- Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
