Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work on a project-based assignment to develop a Spotfire analysis landing page that supports routine engineering statistical data analytics and visualization
• Design the Spotfire statistical analysis page to be broadly accessible for any engineer, enabling the use of data from Redshift and local datasets, reducing the need for additional statistical analysis software licenses
• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preparing datasets to ensure accuracy and quality for analysis
• Support the development and validation of basic statistical and machine learning models under the guidance of senior team members
• Help create interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights to engineers and stakeholders

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Pursuing a bachelor's inSoftware Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, Data science, Digital Engineeringor a related field
• Internship student in the cooperative education program (CWIE) is required to have an internship period of at least 4-6 months

SKILLS:

• Skills in SQL, Python, and R for custom analysis and data visualization
• Skills in Project Management
• Knowledge in Statistical Analysis
• Demonstrate a good level of English proficiency
