Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform failure analysis (FA) in Read Write integration (RWI) area, providing the true FA root cause
• Perform parametric data analysis inRead Write integration area
• Initiative/Enhance FA toolto automate process for workefficiency

This position is part of our Early Career program at WD. Our Early Career program is designed to support individuals beginning their professional career by providing the foundational training through a structured onboarding, mentorship, and development curriculum.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science,Data Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience
• Skills inPython, R, C, SQL,TCL
• Experience in data analysis tools such as Power BI, Spotfire,Tableau, and Excel or Software development
• Knowledge ofHard Disk Drive
• Knowledge ofDigital Transformation

SKILLS:

• Strong communication skills in English and ability to collaborate effectively with a related team
• Proficient in basic analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Python, R, C, SQL)
• Strong problem-solving, creativity, flexibility, and initiative
• Leadership abilities and a positive, proactive mindset
