Intern - Software Development App (Studying Bachelor Degree)

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for an Intern to build & maintain next generation programs that involve AI/ML & Gen-AI technologies.You will work with other developers andleadsthroughout the software development life cycle.

• Involve in in-house Software Development. These include Web-based system and Software tools
• Participate in the design, development, and validation of the Web-based system software (Front End, Backend system, Database) to support the company's in-house software component deployment for the high-volume manufacturing environment
• Work with the team in brainstorming for the best approach and strategy to improve the Web-based system and software tools
• Help enhance, build efficient programs and systems that serve user needs based on User Requirement Specification (URS)

This position is part of our Early Career program at WD. Our Early Career program is designed to support individuals beginning their professional career by providing the foundational training through a structured onboarding, mentorship, and development curriculum.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degreeinComputer Science/Engineering, Informatics, Electronics, SoftwareEngineering, or equivalent experience
• The Internship/Co-opperiod is atleast 4-6 months

SKILLS:

• Programming skills in one or more areas:Python, Kubernetes, microservices, ASP.NET (C#), SQL, RESTful API, React.js, Node.js, JavaScript (orequivalent technology), and database design.
• Must have AI/ML, Gen-AI knowledge & project experience.
• Quick learner with a positive mindset and excellent cooperation skills
• Excellent logical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to details
• Strong motivation and enthusiasm for professional development
• Demonstrate a good level of English proficiency (written/verbal)
