INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AT STAR ALLIANCE

Based in Singapore, the Star Alliance headquarters coordinates alliance-wide initiatives and projects across our global network.
We are currently looking for interns to join our team in the following areas:
Digital & Technology
Availability: Jan 2027 to Aug 2027
You will:
- Assist with IT Security policies review/ update
- Assist in preparation for IT Security Governance Forum
- Learn and utilise vulnerability assessment tool to participate in security operations meetings
- Required to have a high-level of understanding of Cyber Security
- Understanding of compliance audit
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and Members to arrange meetings and manage follow-ups.
- Track project progress and update task statuses in designated tools.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure all files are updated correctly in SharePoint or other repositories
- Ability to communicate views with logical reasoning
We're looking for someone with:
- An interest in Cyber Security and IT infrastructure.
- Understanding of compliance, risk, or audit principles.
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Loyalty
Availability: Jan 2027 to Aug 2027
You will:
- Support the management of Star Alliance loyalty products and initiatives.
- Track member airline performance and prepare reports, presentations, and insights.
- Conduct market research, benchmarking, and data analysis.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with loyalty product and process requirements.
- Coordinate with member airlines, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
- Maintain centralized documentation across the alliance's loyalty programmes.
Airport Experience
Availability: Jan 2027 to Aug 2027
- Assist in planning and coordinating meetings, workshops, and discussions with product experts and member airlines.
- Support research and analysis on passenger behaviour, industry developments, and airport experience trends.
- Collaborate with member airlines to identify opportunities to enhance the end-to-end passenger journey.
- Analyse data and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities across airport experience products, including automation, baggage, and check-in services.
- Support the monitoring of product and process compliance, and assist member airlines with day-to-day operational inquiries.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and documentation to support project activities and stakeholder discussions.
- Provide administrative and coordination support for team initiatives and projects as required.
- Contribute to the delivery of the team's Business Plan objectives and strategic priorities.
