ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in Testing, Validation, and Analytics: Support engineers in setting up, executing, and monitoring DET tests. Collect, organize, and analyze test data, and document results to help verify product performance and identify trends or anomalies.
  • Support Data Analysis and Lab Activities: Apply basic data analytics and statistical methods to interpret test results and generate insights. Maintain laboratory equipment and test logs, and assist in troubleshooting basic test issues while adhering to standard lab procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Develop Dashboards and Reports: Create and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reports to visualize test results, reliability metrics, and key performance indicators, enabling engineering teams to easily monitor performance and derive data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate across departments in planning, preparing and following test project qualification until completed implementation.

This position is part of our Early Career program at WD. Our Early Career program is designed to support individuals beginning their professional career by providing the foundational training through a structured onboarding, mentorship, and development curriculum.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree inElectrical Engineering, computer engineering,and Physics (Magnetics)or equivalent experience

PREFERRED:

  • Experience projects and internships intest, process, or analytical roles
  • Basic programming knowledge and data analytics capabilities

SKILLS:

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with a keen interest in engineering analytics
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools such as JMP, Excel, or similar
  • Ability to work with datasets, perform trend analysis, and conduct basic statistical evaluations
  • Demonstrate a good level of English proficiency (written/verbal)
