  • Lead Internal Stock Audits:

Plan, executed, and managed periodic internal stock audits for all company locations. Ensure comprehensive audits are conducted to assess stock accuracy, inventory management, and control procedures.

  • Inventory Control Review:

Assess and evaluate existing inventory systems and processes to identify areas for improvement. Make recommendations for enhanced controls, procedures, and practices.

  • Data Accuracy & Reconciliation:

Verify stock records against physical inventory counts, identify discrepancies, and provide detailed reports on the findings. Coordinate with relevant departments to reconcile and resolve discrepancies.

  • Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure all stock management activities comply with internal policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. Identify potential risks and provide solutions to mitigate issues related to stock and asset management.

  • Team Leadership:

Lead and manage the stock audit team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship. Oversee the planning and execution of audits to ensure consistent and efficient processes.

  • Reporting & Documentation:

Prepare detailed audit reports that highlight key findings, recommendations, and any corrective actions required. Present audit results to senior management and ensure timely follow-up on audit recommendations.

  • Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with other departments such as operations, logistics, and finance to ensure effective stock control and audit processes. Communicate audit findings clearly and support the implementation of corrective actions.

  • Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends related to inventory control, auditing processes, and risk management. Proactively suggest improvements to enhance the overall stock audit process.

Required Skills

  7. Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
  9. Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve inventory control objectives.
  10. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management best practices.

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as an Inventory Control Manager or similar role in a manufacturing, retail, or distribution setting.
  3. In-depth knowledge of inventory control procedures and systems.
  4. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance related to inventory management.
  5. Strong understanding of the financial implications of inventory management decisions.
  6. Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret inventory data to drive meaningful insights and improvements.
  7. Experience with inventory tracking systems, such as ERP or WMS software.
  8. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  9. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  10. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently.
