We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated International Accountant to support our financial operations across the APAC region, with a strong emphasis on our recently set up Thai office. In this role, you will oversee multi-country accounting activities, ensure compliance with local and international financial standards, and act as a key partner to cross-functional teams across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Take care of end-to-end accounting and financial reporting processes for APAC entities, with a primary focus on Thailand.
Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in accordance with Thai GAAP and IFRS.
Manage general ledger activities, account reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany transactions.
Coordinate with local auditors, tax advisors, and government authorities in Thailand.
Support statutory filings, tax submissions, and compliance requirements across APAC markets.
Collaborate with regional finance teams to streamline processes and enhance internal controls.

Job Requirements

At MPL, we turn knowledge into action. Who are we looking for

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 35 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational or regional APAC environment.
Strong knowledge of Thai accounting standards (Thai GAAP), local tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
Experience working across multiple APAC jurisdictions is an advantage.
Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
Excellent English skills (written and verbal); Thai language fluency strongly preferred due to local regulatory and stakeholder interactions.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, cross-border environment.
Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across different cultures and time zones.
Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) are a plus
